**Update! Jared completed the haute route successfully without a hitch. I couldn't be more relieved!
Here's where he has slept the last few days:
Friday night: Trient Hut
Saturday Night: Mont Hut
Sunday night: Prafleuri Hut
Monday night: Dix Hut
Tonight: Vignettes Hut

Wow! My dad did this a couple times. It's just amazing. One day you're going about your regular life, the next day you're going "en haute route" across the Alps! Crazy! Hope he has fun!
